Frosted Pine Coffee Co. started with a simple idea and a lot of heart.
Jessica grew up in Washington State, where drive-thru coffee stands are everywhere and great coffee is just part of everyday life. While she was in college, she met Kody, who was stationed in the Air Force at the time. The two quickly became inseparable, got married, and eventually made their way back to Kody’s hometown of Council Bluffs, Iowa.
When Jessica moved to Council Bluffs, one thing stood out right away. Back home, grabbing coffee was easy. Coffee stands were on every corner, and quality was the standard. Here, that experience didn’t really exist yet.
So instead of wishing for it, they decided to build it.
With the help of close friends Andrew and Robert, who also served in the Air Force, the group came together to create Frosted Pine Coffee Co. They opened the stand in the fall of 2024 with a clear goal in mind: bring the feel of Pacific Northwest coffee culture to Council Bluffs in a way that fit everyday life.
From the beginning, it was important that Frosted Pine felt both familiar and dependable. The team focused on sourcing coffee inspired by Pacific Northwest roasters, using professional equipment, filtered water, and careful brewing techniques to make sure every drink tasted the way it should. As a veteran-owned business, they run the stand with discipline, consistency, and pride in their work. And with an experienced barista team behind the windows, each drink is made by people who care about getting it right.
Today, Frosted Pine Coffee Co. is proud to be part of the daily routines of the Council Bluffs community. It is a place built for early mornings, quick stops, friendly faces, and really good coffee. A little piece of the Pacific Northwest, served right here at home.
